Pictures are better than typing. I still have to sand and paint a few more times, but I now have the shape nailed, it is about being smooth now :coocoo For the record, stripper will ruin your JB Weld, just so you know :banghead

I had a pre-chamfered one too (but sold it on). Filed and powder coated, then had the paint milled off the logo.

Metal covers don't warp and leak like the oem POS.

Mine has my "Initial" on it...

I have the anodized Graves clutch cover and I took the laser to it and "cooked" my initial into it....kinda looks like a Suzuki "S" no that I look at it:devious

Ok, I think I am done with it, if I keep messing with it I will have a glass smooth cover and that isn't how they came. I am in the process of cutting out a couple of gaskets, if they work I can provide them to other Yosh Cover owners.:coocoo

Here is the final result of about 4 hours worth of extra work on the cover, I could make it nicer, but I got this far without screwing it up, so I will stop here. Note Rustoleum Satin Black is our friend! :coocoo

So you remember, this is where I was :banghead

Hopefully my final result!

Hey how'd that get in there? Fat guy doing his only trick :coocoo
