Okay guys I have done a search but not found an answer to my question. I bought a 2003 TLS a few months ago. The owner claimed he had it dyno tuned with a Yosh box instead of putting a Power commander on it. After having the bike a month the battery died so I took it out to get a new one. The bike sat for several days with no battery as I could not get to the dealer right away. I have been told the tune has been lost due to the battery being disconnected for more than 1 day. I do think the bike seems to run a little less smooth than before but since I have only racked up 150 miles I cannot comment for sure. My queation is can the tune be lost??? Is this just a bad rumor? Help a newbe out.

Thanks , Mike

Unplugging the battery has nothing to do with the re map.
However they stopped making the TLS in 01, so you may want to double check the year

Yosh box remap stays stored in the ecu, even if battery is removed.
Same goes for the power com as well its flashed onto a chip that stays there always till you change it.
