Sorry, mine is 24mm below the top triple and 32mm above it ,

Top nut is M24 x 1.5mm
lock ring is M30 x 1.00mm

Talking about spanner sizes , the nut above the top yoke /triple clamp is 32mm

Probably not the bike came fitted with the Harris steering damper kit and screen brace when I bought it presumably the nut is bigger across the flats ie 32mm to secure the damper bracket sorry for any confusion ; moral of the story, when in doubt keep it shut cheers mickyc
