Hi all,

Just thought I would introduce myself, my name is ozz770 & I've just lost my "CHERRY" & recently and bought my first TLR. I fancied a big twin after riding a big single thumper for the last 12 months.

It's a 1999 black one, with a Yoshimura full system & I've just had a spending spree and bought a Power Commander 3, an Ivan's TRE, to make it go a bit better. Not that it felt slow already but to just smooth it out a bit through the gears.

I live in the Southwest (UK) and have so far had a blast on it, especially on the twisty bits (nice & twitchy on the rear).

Top tip of the day: stick an Ohlins in the back. That will sort out that twitchy rear.
And if that doesn't work there's alway imodium. :laugh

Hi M8,

Yea, just got some other toys through the post this morning from eBay (Ohlins rear shock & steering damper), just got to wait for the weekend to fit

That should sort out the front & rear with out the use of over the counter drugs !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ozz770 congrats on buying a TLR :ytiller,i'm south west too in Torquay.
Sounds like you have some good mods on the way.
There's a few of us down this way we should all try and meet up some time.

Hi jamiedeb69,
Yea just getting some toys together, as the bike came pretty much standard.
Defo up for a ride out, possible in the New Year now, due to Christmas & alcohol etc :cheers
Nice clean bike, especially liking the carbon fibre (so jealous) !!!!

My TL is off the road at the mo with an electrical problem so will be sorting that out during the Christmas break.
Which part of the south west are you?
Looking forward to pics of your's when you have fitted your new bits

Hi M8,
I'm only up in Exeter, so not too far away.
My mate's just got one as well (lives in the same road)!!!
We had a "Road-trip" up to Birmingham Monday evening to get it, I started to ride it back home, but in the end it came back on the back of a AA truck ;(
