has anyone wished they could have a vented rear brake disc like the moto gp boys.
ive Always loved how the Moto GP bikes have a full floating and vented rear rotor.

No good reason to have one on a road bike but I've always wanted one anyway.

Then I noticed that there are certain Kart rotors that are the right kind of diameter and vented.

This is the real deal...

This is actually a front rotor from a kart....
I'm thinking the right kart rotor with a alloy center etc ?
just needs one of you talented machinists to whip up a alloy centre.

In this case, won't you need a suitable caliper to accept the thicker rotor?
The OEM caliper won't fit this rotor at all.... :O

the cart disc's do come in different thicknesses & diametres.

i myself have not realy looked into it. no cart shops around here or i would. but someone close by to a shop could surely do some measurements & research.

its actualy sourced from another site & i thought this could be a good bling for the bikes :)

its food for though :O

BTW if I can remember I have a cart shop close to me. Got a deal with the guy for a custom frame setup for my zx6 motor eventually.
