Had a mail from a buddy saying Chrome lets him get around the region lock-outs and he can watch the racing live on www.worldsbk.com ... anyone else confirm? How about the BBC coverage that only the poms can get?
Good tip then Doug? :laugh
Occasionally, if I'm very lucky, I can catch a MotoGP race on pay TV, in between all the baseball, sumo, pro-wrestling and people talking about sports rather than showing them :rolleyes
Region restriction is usually based on IP address, at least I thought reading something like that about the streams of worldsbk.com
If Google chrome can work around such region restriction, this means it uses a transparent proxy in a region to work around this. Maybe that is nice to watch worldsbk.com videos. But not so nice is that this transparent proxy can see ALL your internet traffic passing through.
