I´m trying to get the top yoke off my TL1000S 97 and just want to check if the
two bottom screws are T30 torx? Mine are slightly rusted and on their way to
strip but just so I use the right bit.

If you are referring to the two Torx screws that secure the ignition switch to the underside of the top yoke, then they are the T40 size. Be aware that the factory used Red Loctite on those two screws, so they will be slow to remove. It's possible to do, but don't rush it, and be sure the bit fits well.

Brilliant thanks, and they´re also in a bad place for extracting if you shred them...

Thanks and Will do that, I had the foggy notion that they had go to get it off, makes it a lot easier. Also the T40 fitted much better!

Had some trouble getting it back on but then this great forum gave me the key in an old thread, I pushed the front wheel into the curb to get it aligned while my buddy put the yoke and nut back on...
