Wanting to do the same. I just tore into my bike so I found the location it mounts on the rear. I don't know how good you are with a welder, but I might just try my hand at making my own. Or I could go provide you with some pretty good measurements. Maybe find a member to measure his rack and get a local fab shop to put something together.

Going to/from work is usually solo, so instead just mount a Givi or something like that onto the pan from stripping the foam and vinyl off of a passenger seat. Or get a Ventura soft luggage system, unless you ride in heavy rain frequently.

That's what I did, got a rear seat from a wreck that was torn stripped it down and bolted the case mount to it.

I always use a tank-bag when i tour with the TLS.. However, when its fully packed its a bit in the way.. Then i use that and a backpack..
