It doesn't look too bad I would have went with the green if you could find it to match the bike. The silver/gray does look nice, I think you will like it more when you put it on the seat itself and then install on the bike.
When I initially contacted the seller about my bike I told him it was a nearly finished "full custom" bike.
I think he got scared because he kept telling me that the covers he made were average in quality (meaning the TL was sewn on top, etc...) but I said I didn't mind.
He asked for pics of the bike, which I sent him, then he said he would like to do a high quality, one-off for me with better craftsmanship than his "standard" one.
I asked about green and he said no problem... he would send my out a whole batch of samples on materials and colors in the white/green/gray/black specturm.
I decided on your exact set of covers, with the stripe in white and the TL in Kawasaki green. In addition, the thread color was to be offset, so the white stripes would have green thread, and the green TL would hav white thread.
It was all a "go" and I was just waiting on samples... and I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting... He (she) was very nice in email, and kept saying they were excited to do it, and the samples will be here "any day".
After responding to every email, it turned into every 3rd email, then nothing... they wouldn't get back in touch with me.
Recently they said they will no longer do them for the TLS since they just don't sell well enough (fair enough). Still wouldn't make one special, which I didn't care about, the "standard" ones were always fine with me... THEY are the ones that suggested a really nice one-off for me.
I though about not even buying this one, since they kinda blew me off... but when they said they wouldn't make them any more I kinda got worried I'd never get one.
If you read the description, which is what I received, it's their "mock up" for photos that was stapled and removed from the seat. No worries, as it's still perfect, but if they are selling their "samples" they're probalby out of the TLS seat cover game.
They will continue to make TLR covers though. I'm glad I got this one because I think it's very nice for the money. Hell... if the bike every actually becomes a "full custom" then I'll take it somewhere to have that fancy seat cover made.
