I have a European spec 2000 TLS, I have read somewhere before that there are possibly restrictions in them? Could someone please tell me where?
I. Also have a 2000 TLR which feels much more powerful.
With the TLS starting off in 1st gear it will not lift the front at all, is that normal? The TLR will do it with ease

Two possible restrictions - at least the more obvious ones - are the ECM and the rubber intake manifolds.

The part number on the ECM can be researched (SteveTLS' site) to determine which Market it came from. If I recall correctly, the French and Japanese markets were restricted, and there may be others.

The restricted intake manifolds are halfway closed with a rubber membrane down below the throttle bodies.
