Would these be sufficient if i want to change out the oilseals in my 97 TLS OEM steering damper?
Found a page that suggested 10x20x9 or 10x20x7..
My current ones are all dried up and cracked..

If you are talking about fork seals, I would recommend a complete rebuild instead of just replacing the seals on a 17 year old bike. Most likely what you are seeing is the dust cover, not the seal itself. I see in your sig you already have a Bitubo, so a Race Tech fork rebuild would complete your suspension transformation.
Just my .02
No.. I mean steering damper..

Thanks for the advise! Do you have a link at hand for the RaceTech forks? Ive been thinking about either a rebuild or Busa conversion, but i think my wallet (wife) wont let me do the Busa-thing..
I have heard that standard oil seals in the stearing damper pop very easily if the handle bars are turned fast and sprays oil all over your tank, you have to get high presure seals to be safe.
To add/correct to above, I didn't mean the original seals fitted to the damper, I meant the standard type of replacement seals brought of ebay
Here is where I got mine:

Springs and a revalve was some of the best money spent on my S

I would steer clear from the Ebay stuff in this instance. Any reputable bearing place should be able to match you up with what you need. Just specify "No China Crap".
The seal is an odd size, the dimensions are written on it. Its a standard hydraulic seal so I would think a hydraulics shop would be the place to see.

You wont find the seal at any bike shop, engineering supplier or even the OEMs resalers (KYB I believe).

If you can get the dimensions I could be able to help source them, I really don't want to disassemble mine again.

I'm almost certain the shaft is not 10mm. I'm sure someone can confirm this without even looking at theirs
Also pretty sure the outside diameter of the seal is not 20mm.

The thickness I don't think is too important as the seal retainer is a screw in not a circlip so 7,8,9 or 10 should be ok

But I'm not 100% on this as I just realised you're talking about an S damper not an R.
