Wouldn't be hard to ship. Take the wheels off, make it small as possible and crate it. I live in a port city, I could find out how much it may cost to ship to UK. Ships leave here empty all the time going back over seas. There begging for something to ship back.

That sounds like a plan, could you ask about shipping to the uk please? Are there many TL's for sale in the US? None here worth having that I've seen so far

Yeah there are a few. U want to look in the southern states. No rust, it doesn't snow in the south, no salt. Not that anybody is gonna ride in the snow but our roads never see salt. Dry salt rusts metal too. I will check around and see what shipping rates would be to UK. Probably bee about 550lbs shipping weight I'm guessing.

Before you get too carried away the shipping will probably not be the hard or expensive part. The import taxes on the other hand will be more of an issue.

The Duc is in Lincoln. There's this in Northampton. The shop will probably give you a spade load of cash plus the bike in exchange.

I saw that corona model but those colours aren't standard are they?

True they can do but I'm one of those anal guys that's wants a standard or near to model. Really wish I'd never sold my others. What is yours like?

Ain't got it yet, get it next week ha ha but its immaculate in a if you shut your eyes and squint sort of way although if I had the money id love that corona rep ! but totally understand about the standard appeal my zx7r was like it for ages until I hit diesel and slid it up the road :banghead

Actually I'm quite liking the mods I've made recently so on balance I wouldn't stand to gain much. Its getting quite hard to find a genuinely stock TL. Most of us have dicked around with something or other, even if its just the pipes.

Tell me about it, I had one of the first tlr's in 98 which I imported from the Netherlands, it had a projector headlamp. Then I bought a 6 month old black one in 2000 then a 2001 blue n white which I did a deal for duke. It had pipes and flush indicators but I never got round to changing them.

I appeal again, if anyone has a late model in blue n white there cash waiting even if it need work.

Not sure about those corona colours though, looks a bit bling for me lol
