I need to verify tach signal wire to install a shift light?If i remember right is it the grey wire in connector plug that goes to gauges?Thanks for helping!!

The TLR manual (page 7-27) shows the tachometer signal on pin 11 of the instrument cluster connector. This should be a black wire with a red tracer.

The gray wire in that connector is what powers the instrument illumination bulbs.
