Hi All TL Fans,
I bought 2 defect TL1000R ECU with C41 failure code(FP Relay circuit malfunction).
My work, find the defects(test and debug eng.), and I thought we'd fix that too.
First Day:
Test the ECU on my TLR
See the C41 defect code, the fuel pump not working because the fuel relay not active.

Seriously...
This is awesome. Above the head of the average Joe, but amazing none the less.
What transistor did you use to replace? Now that you know what to replace, you could offer this as a service. What do you use to clean the board? Acetone?

Oszitrek,
You are one determined operator! Kudos to you for taking on a very daunting project! Obviously, this is not your first rodeo.
I am impressed. Wow! (y)

It's difficult for my old eyes to read the red text notes on the green, jumbled background of the PCB, but I appreciate your efforts to document it.

As rxf610 asked, what type of transistor is used to drive the fuel pump signal?

Also, as rxf610 noted, if there were an easier, more efficient way to access that transistor, there are many TLR ECMs floating around that could benefit from this fix.

Again, nice work!

Hello RXF610,
I use the original transistor.
The SMD marking is GA and this marking is a HE1A4A NPN transistor.
Board cleaning for the most part mechanical, and sometime washing isopropyl alcohol.

Helo Six5,
Thank you for the praise. :) Yes, this is not the first ECM which I repaired.

Editing one better paint for You. ;)

In progress one helper pack for homemade ECM repair.
