Hmmm it seems that they are not the same the R number is 15410-02FA0 and the S number is 15410-02F10.

Seem to recall hearing somewhere that the last (2) digit is just the color. Looking at the diagrams they don't appear to be sufficiently different for there to be an issue.
Also got a Haynes manual for the TL1000

Actually I find the same thing as Snowblind.
But I do recall reading somewhere that the angle of the conection pipe is different.

I ordered an OEM fuel filter. The connetion angles of the fuel lines are different between S and R. Sorry.........
