I changed my 97 TL1000S into a TL1000R and have some wiring issues with the Gauge Cluster. I went from the S cluster to the R cluster but the pin locations are not the same. Does anyone know how to wire this up ??
Or maybe someone makes an adapter harness ??
I have read people say there is a wiring schematic in the file vault but I use the one in my haynes manual. That should be all you need to play musical wires.
Hopefully this is a simple question and I don't mean to offend anyone, but why would you want a TLR cluster on your TLS? The TLR cluster does not have any info on it that the TLS cluster doesn't have.:confused
The R Tacho wont work with the S wire. Cause the S send 5v and the R 12 v.
I got the same problem but some made me a circuit. I expect it 1 off these days. If it works i will put the diagram here.
