I shattered another (non OEM) lever. The bike is my only means of transportation at the moment, so.... had to pull something out of my ass until new one arrives.

And yes, it actually works. Just got to be gentle.

I hope you welded it with super-glue first....
Nope, just tape. All I have. You'd be surprised at how little pressure you need to apply the brake. In any case, just needs to hold until Monday.

They look the same, but my OEM replacement will be here on Monday.

Certainly don't plan on using the tape Mod for longer than that 🙂

If you’d asked us first then I expect one of us would of been happy to send you a spare

Back to good <img src="http://www.tlzone.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
How much did that cost you? I would have included shipping on my free part... <img src="http://www.tlzone.net/forums/images/smilies/lmao.gif" border="0" alt="" title="ROTFL" class="inlineimg" />
$22 with shipping, I believe. And no, it's not as good as yours. In fact, this lever has less than 1/4 inch of play. The slightest touch locks up the front wheel. Better than electrical tape, but hella dangerous in the rain. Nearly buckled the front end early today.
