Can't draw but waiting for a particular forum member to view idea.

Slotting round socket head screw into a longer and thicker front section axle spacer.

Just having a go .

the concept is sound but you cant use a socket head screw for the job you have in mind.

it needs to be custom machined from hex bar.

got a question for you,

Having the 2 nuts the way they are in the drawing, would that be all that is required to lock, and move the spacer forward and back?
I realize the movement will be less going forward.I kept thinking there had to be a cut in the spacer to allow an allen key on the head but its not required.

Will a steel bolt damage the spacer inside the cut and is this why it has to be custom made with hex bar? I'm only guessing.

Anyway someone's going to give it a go for me.

If the slot is on the outside then the block can't fall out when the axle is removed

Like Stu said the adjuster bolt needs maching from hex bar (or round with flats milled on)

I'll take whatever you decide Sam, but it must include the same axle hole feature as intuitive block.

If its a goer then I need that payment info.

Thanks
