It wouldn't be hard to make a throttle restrictor - flat slide carb - just need a screw through the top to prevent the slide opening all the way.

Berg's tend to be lots of work and very very high maintance - the newer ones are supposed to be getting better now that KTM bought them out. Still I'd expect it to be at least as much work as a CRF.

There's a used Yellow one of those with the fairing at the local bike shop for 1,850,000 yen ... about $17,000. I'm SO-OOOOO tempted to trade the TLR in & get myself in hock for a few years :eek

I forgot to add - the LBS has a Playstation styled Duc 996 signed by someone famous and a Duc 900SS for a great price too ... so many bikes so little time :)
