Thank god i brought some.....decided to change the spark plugs whilst the front rads were off (fitting bling covers), 2 weeks after ordering them they arrive. Stopped raining for the first time in ages.....front plug great no probs, back plug, a right git to get at, and yes the threaded bit stays in the head whilst rest of it came out!!! So off with the fuel tank, and woohoo the stud extractor did it's job. Phew!!
Now I've stripped the tank down, taken the fuel pump out, which was sealed with bathroom silicone sealer!!. Gonna check the fuel filter etc tomorrow, and fit the pump back into the tank that Schlappa resprayed in the summer.

I just lurve doing those "little" jobs on the trike :laugh :laugh :laugh

No luckily...the rest of the plug with the insulator came out intact :) Never known a plug to do that before, but then I don't know how long those ones were in there!! Mind you no they looked OK...no black build up or white deposits :)
