Stubby exhausts info please??

Forgot to say the bike was Dyno n set up with Simmi carbon race cans no baffles

Will these art cans be louder when cut to stubby's?

You will loose that lovely deep tone a long can gives .Personally I'm not a fan but that's just my taste.

Ok thanks as any one on here got art oval stubby's fitted? Plan is to keep my long carbon Simmi cans too so if I get bored I can swap them over it's only 5 bolts each side lol will I need to re map with stubby's?

im not sure about v-twins,but with inline 4's stubby cans lose torque in the midrange,plus maybe a few bhp at the top end
zorst manufacturers spend a lot of money developing their products and if you look at all the big name exhausts they all have fairly long cans as standard
saying that it hasnt stopped loads of people cutting their cans in half

I had some cut down renegades on mine for a while, had to take them off in the end, tooooo loud man.
Bike seemed to run ok though,

yes its called an asbo lol

Just had the tls Mot done .Put all legal bits back on ,chainguard,tax disc holder ,big no plate and oem cans is it just my imagination but bike seems much smoother with standard cans , haven't ridden it far yet but will do a back to back test with my JCE carbon tri-ovals when I get time ( maybe its just the lack of decibels! )

I've got a set of cut downs you can have for free as long you have the std 4 bolt fitting there your . O and pay the post

I got yoshi stubbys and they are mega loud. May not be a deep as a full pipe at low rpm say 2,500 ridding moss daisy but when you gas it my word it's insanely awesome. I'll try and put a clip on if I can workout how ony phone lol
