I like the silver frame and as the engine is now in (loosly) it would be easier and cheaper.

I was working on the exhaust to see if I need to remove re-use any of the stock cast exhaust mounts under the swingarm on the frame before powder coating. It looks like I will be able to leave both intact and re-use certainly the r/h side one.

The swingarm needs painting/coating and would prefer to be same colour as frame.

I like black and silver but not too keen on gold, the bodywork writing is gold which is as much as I want.

Exhaust is going to be slow as I can only get to my TIG welder guy on Sat mornings and I can only tape so many pieces together for him at a time and then I have to wait until the following Sat to collect it etc.

Keep looking at TIG's on ebay, but ideally would prefer the pulsed units for better sheet work. Unfortunately they aren't cheap and I've never welded TIG before, so would take time to learn. I've no problems with gas and MIG so shouldn't take too long :confused

Yes, Sully's looks good and was also one of 2 bikes with the black frame that got me thinking....

I think I'll keep the frame/sssa silver and black wheels and bodywork.

I have a friend who does specialist painting and he has a technique using netting and various paint layers to mimic carbon fibre, very tempting on the wheels and sssa but too expensive
