I managed to snap off a banjo bolt while replacing the brake lines on my tls so instead of buying a new caliper (i spent most of the afternoon yesterday trying to get the bolt out and it's deep in there) I thought i would just go with the 6 pot calipers from a tlr. I checked on bikebandit and it looks like the same model# for both the tls and tlr - am I missing something here?

No...
Coming from the factory, TLS has 4pots and TLR 6pots. Different brakes.
You can take TLR 6pots and bolt them on the TLS with no other mods, though.

As noted above, the 6 pot TLR calipers are a straight bolt on. They do require different size pads than the stock TLS 4 pot calipers though.
