I am planning to get my rims painted but still trying to decide on color.

1997 TL1000s Canadian Model - red
I think that the stock color was a beige but I thought the brake rotor centers were beige also but mine are silver. Any pics would be appreciated
I am also thinking black with polished edges.

1997 TLs had silver brake rotor centers with 10 rivets.

The TLr had 8 rivets, and silver or gold/ beige centers. The OEM brake disks are Nissin. Seems you have an OEM set (check the brand name) or you can have TLr disks (check the rivets). Or something aftermarket.
Stock colour of the rims was gold/ beige of that model.

I am not a fan of polished edges, but black rims under a red TL works well.

That is not a 1997 model. And the exhaust headers should be black.
The VTR had blacks rims. That is not a TL, but gives you an idea how it looks.
Even on a black TL the black rims look good.

OEM TL discs are SUNSTAR,not Nissin!
and what i know the discs on both TLs are the same SUNSTAR discs with different color carriers!

But we need more eighties styling! I'd say chuck on some first gen gix fairing on too, that'd look refreshing and well, ace!
i may suprise you later with something totally different ;)

So we're not thinking about one of those early 90s' shell suite paint jobs like they had on the GSXR11s then? :puke
