I'm going on Holiday to France, on the TL.
Is there any information I should be aware of prior to setting off?

Things like "You must carry a spare headlight bulb"
Having never taken a motorcycle outside the UK, i'm not sure what to expect. :O

My Insurance covers me for riding and breakdowns.

Thanks in Advance.

The wearing of crash helmets is compulsory for both driver and passenger of any two-wheel motorised vehicle.

Use of dipped headlights during the day compulsory.

Headlight adjustment: This adjustment is not required for two wheeled vehicles as the beam pattern is more symmetrical but check that any extra loading has not affected the beam height.

GB Stickers are compulsory within the EU unless your UK registration plates display the GB Euro-symbol (Europlates) which became a legal option from 21 March 2001.

It is compulsory to carry the Original Registration Document.

It is recommended that visitors equip their vehicle with a set of replacement bulbs.

A first aid kit is not compulsory for motorcycles

Warning triangle (excludes motorcycles)
Reflective jackets (EN471) - one reflective jacket in the vehicle. This does not apply to drivers of two-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles.

It is absolutely prohibited to carry, transport or use radar detectors. Failure to comply with this regulation involves a fine of up to 1500 Euros and the vehicle and/or device may be confiscated.
