Germany! :thumbup

Or were you thinking of something closer to home?:D

Was thinking of doing this in April

Am doing a little run from UK to Corfu on mine in August.
Ride it! ... you're kiddin ain't ya? Ride it .... over a distance ... I don't think so. We all acquired our TLS/R's after a serious night of drinking and cavorting and then dicking about on ebay .... we now spend all our time rebuilding these things trying to convince ourselves that everything is peachy.

I must drink to much... I have bought 3 of the things! Ebay is the spawn of the devil and Van doesn't help much either.

Now if I could just convince the wife what a great safety device carbon wheels are..... :)

I have a trip planned in August/September. Visiting friends in Frankfurt and then Prague. Thought we'd take the scenic way back via Berlin too. Won't be taking the TLR though as the last time I followed a Harley I ended up in a ditch in France. :banghead
Still finding mud where there shouldn't be any! Bike not me...... :D

Pah, done loads of tours on mine, though for the last 5 years I've had the GSA for touring,
Would you believe that I get less arse ache on the tl than I do on the GSA, mind you with a 350+ mile range you do tend to ride the BMW for longer, :lol.
I'm planning on taking the tl back to the alps July/august. Selling the GSA soon,
And as Geoff said we are off to Germany as well in May, that'll be close to 2.000 miles I should think.
I also bought mine New back in 1998, I was sober at the time, :lol

350miles out of a tank of gas?!?!?!?!? If only...... On mine 12l = 60 miles. I'd never get saddle-sore on a long trip cos I'd be off it ever half an hour to refill. :laugh

**** me, that's about 23 to a gallon. I thought teds fuel consumption was bad, I expect to get at least 110 miles before the fuel light comes on, on a run I can get over130. I even had it up to 168 miles once on a very slow rideout,
I think you need to get yours set up on a dyno , that's terrible consumption
That is after its been dyno'd. Used to be worse. :eek
Hi there, I'm in north lincs near Barton, let me know if you ever fancy a ride out, it'll stop my bike collecting dust this summer in the garage

You've got that spot on :rotfl
Banana Man used to do an annual ride out/ meet up.

Might be worth a pm.
Or quite a few of us get together for the weekend on our club stand at the BMF, peterborough twice a year,
All welcome.
