This winter Im definitly putting in Race Tech Fork Springs. Im thinking of doing the valves too as they really dont cost that much and it should do a lot for handling. Has anyone on here done the valves before? How hard is it. And how long does it take?

It's not too hard , but you will need some special tools to compress the springs and another one to hold the cartridge . I made my own tools follow the instrucction on some post of the forum.

About time depending but maybe 4-5 hours. You have to take off fairings, front wheel, move out the forks open it ... if is the first time you do it maybe a day. But it's not difficult at all.

The valve stack is quite easy, just put your preferences on the Race Tech website and you'll get the number and shimms

The best help is do a search.... there are lot of information and pics abou it...

Go to GP Suspension and call them, get the good stuff. $476.00 shipped for springs, rebound and compression valving. Race Tech doesn't make valving for rebound, GP Suspension does. Also new needles for the adjusters and such.:coocoo
