Got the news today from my mechanic, broke a bearing for the rear cylinder. More tlzone credit card woes! Gotta pay to play I guess, I don't want to part out or anything like that so I guess I'll rebuild. Wish the ol tillis luck!

Maybe now is the time to buy a TLR motor so you get the better cases/bearings/windage tray and such, then you won't be rebuilding again, and it might be cheaper for you.:coocoo

Thought about that, but my opinion was (which might be wrong) that instead of getting another motor I know nothing about, I would be basically be getting a rebuilt motor due to having to tear down the thing anyway just for the work that needs to be done? Thoughts?

i agree with chuck. i am starting to think that as much as i love my old girl, that i might wanna have a back up motor just for such events.
