I changed mine to Iridums after just a couple of months and have never fouled them since. Don't know if the old plugs were that bad, but I thought I'd rather be safe than sorry. :O

I actually had TLS fouling and not TLR. The only time the S fouled was when I, stupidly let the dealer change the plugs and they fired her up and immediately revved it and bam! Fouled. The best part was they did it twice! :lol They were not going to change them, but I insisted, then I showed them how to properly start and warm an S to avoid it in the future. It is funny to me how the shop monkeys get to do some repairs that are rather "complicated" but the real mechanics there weren't much better.

I think so yes. At least, I changed them several times. Not sure they wear fouled or not but none the less bike would start after changing them.
