Hey i picked up a nail I think in my tire on my tl1000r...i was going 100 at the time, and luckily my buddy was behind me to warn me that he saw my tire getting splashy... so I was looking on ebay at cheap tires to pick up... i wanted a pilot power rear tire, but this one came up... has the seller misnamed it, or is this actually called a pilot sport tire? and are they as good for street riding as the pilot powers, if they actually exist? thanks!

I would think it's a Pilot Power, probably stock on R1's. I don't think you can really tell how much life is left on it though :confused Maybe your just better off getting a new one. :O

They do exist: http://two-wheels.michelin.com/2w/front/affich.jsp?codeRubrique=2092004103801&codePage=2092004103801_09092004115144&lang=EN

However, I was just getting a quote for the Pilot range and apparently they don't make the sports anymore.

Further, if you look at the link I supplied you'll see the tread is a different pattern. If your ebay one is a Pilot Sport then I guess it's an older model..... question is... how old?
