From memory.....
The PC3 USB module interrupts the injection signals at the injector connectors. This differs from the PC2 which interrupts the injection signals at the ECM connectors. However, in either case, the ground wire should be connected directly to the battery negative terminal.

I had a PCII on my TLS and removed it when I got a TEKA FI adjuster box...much happier w/ the results from the ability to adjust real time w/ the TEKA if you can find one local to you?...good luck w/ your decision!
