Regretting selling my TLS road bike and can't bare to put to my race bike on the road, so building a new TLS road bike.

I have a TLS Frame/Subframe but need everything else.

A damaged or blown TLS would be easier (and cheaper)

But over and above that I want a TLR Swingarm and Radiators

Also want GSXR Radial forks and calipers, load on ebay.com but not willing to ship to the UK :banghead

What have you ?

Sam I have some bits left over froms Kevs bike,
more parts than I can think of but here are a few
Loom
Headlight
rear wheel
side stand
yokes
subframe
tank
throttle bodies and injectors
modded airbox
Carbon rear hugger
TLS headers
rear plastics + hump

I know I have more but canny think at the moment, if any of that interests let me know :thumbup

Hopefully by 6pm tonight I will be the proud owner of a black '97 TLS bought for the pricely sum of £1,200 :laugh

I decided it would be cheaper to buy a bike and sell the engine/bodywork and bits I won't need etc than build from scratch with the frame I have :devious

How much for the hugger ? (Is it real lightweight carbon fibre or heavy carbon clothed fibre glass ?)

where did you manage to find a tls for £1200 ?

is it in good nick? is it legal ;) ?
:laugh Yes all of the above

Came with new tyres, brand new Gilles rearsets, newly painted black, corbin seat, just serviced at main dealer, Twin Outlet Cans etc etc

I even spotted the old stock rearsets, steering damper, rear seat on his garage floor and got them chucked in LOL

He was proper gutted that he's set the reserve too low, only I bid :devious
3 miles from work aswell in Leeds.

Unfortunately they are selling for peanuts at the minute, another one on Ebay for £1400 BINow that he can't sell, strange, must be winter coming ?

Anybody got a set of 03/04 GSXR750/1000 Radial forks and Gold Calipers, it's so frustrating that they are over £400 here in the UK and Only $400 in the US !!
Looks like I'll be importing another set and getting stung for the import duty again :banghead

I guess you'll be keeping those rearsets? :devious

£1200 for that bike. Truly a steal. I'm almost sorry for the seller.

I am :devious

Although I don't like the 2 point mountings that most rearsets have, frames tend to break the lugs off unless they are fixed by all 3 lugs :banghead

I even felt guilty driving home with a big grin on my face :)

Crikey Sam, that's one good deal you got there!:thumbup I paid a lot more for my presently somewhat disasterously disabled 97 TLS:banghead . If you hadn't helped me out so much with my recent catastrophes:cheers I would be dead envious I would!
nice one m8!

interpol, Its the TLR Swingarm I'm looking for unfortunately, not the shock but thankyou for offering.

Geoff, oil gallery plug arrived this morning, so I'll finish converting the cases this weekend, get em swilled off and all been well posted on Monday. I'll put a few notes in re Oil Jet Locations and sizes cos they changed on the TLR cases, just incase your mechanic swaps the TLS ones back in :devious
