Down the right hand side by any chance?

If yes then its most likely the clutch cover. Do a tour with an 8mm socket just to check nothing's worked loose. The covers are plastic and have been known to warp.

not looked properly yet mate I'd say spkt cover side at an initial guess but its in the garage now too cold outside and five bikes in the garage so no room to work:laugh
Likely the clutch push rod seal, or the output shaft seal.

Once you look behind the sprocket cover and clean it up a bit, you'll know which one is the problem.
:stupid If it is the push rod seal, look at replacing it with the SV seal. Pretty easy mod and a better seal.
Possibly is the clutch cover. Leak path tracks round the cover across the sump and ends up trailing off of the protective vane in front of the drain plug. Well that's what mine is doing.
right then! had a look today stripped it down oil everywhere I reckon both seals clutch pushrod and output seal both look an easy job pull out push in if im correct? is it that straight forward?
sv pushrod seal whats the mod? any difference?
one more funny thing spkt bolt seemed loose??????? if tight would it stop the leak?????? and maybe only be the clutch pushrod seal

You have to make the hole in the retainer a bit larger or you can just order the SV retainer. Easy either way. :thumbup

The sprocket nut will not stop the leak if it is coming from the output shaft.

Here is the story (with photos) on the SV1000 push rod seal.
