Hey all! New member here. Always loved the tlr and I got an opportunity about 7 months ago. Picked up the bike super cheap and with low mileage (less than 15k) but it was an absolute mess.
Since purchasing Ive: completely replaced the front end (replaced and rebuilt the forks, replaced the triple), rebuilt the calipers/cleaned entire brake system, replaced both wheels (and front rotors), swapped the tank and fairings (got OEM hardware from a race buddy!!!), did the airbox mod and PC V w/autotune, poormans TRE (jist a plain resistor),rectifier swap, +3 rear sprocket w/new chain, yosh pipes, pulled the swing arm off to clean and regrease the bearings, and Showa shock mod

So yeah...been a labor of love. Really I joined to try to pick some brains about the showa shock. Ive read lots of good info but really want to know how to make the stock unit or a gold valve mod work properly, 20+ yr old shock definitely is a bit underdamped. Last post from Doug suggested to contact him on latest setrings but he hasnt posted in many years, so anyone with knowledge your help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum Rocketrider! (y)

Yes, nice work on the restoration. Looks good!

What part of Colorado? Denver area?

Regarding your rear shock, you can contact member "Speedking" (Sean). He has connections with Traxxion Dynamics, and they can get you sorted.
