hi im wanting to know how to cut down on wind turbulance/buffeting on these machines? The noise around my noggin was louder than
the bike at 100ks, would bar end mirrors and a taller screen quiet things down? If taller screen what do you recommend, my helmets a
nice snug fit Shark speed R its sweet as on my SV1000N.

Where do my fellow Kiwi and Aussie riders buy there Navigator stuff, like an upgraded rear shock or mufflers (i found staintune, neptune).

Thanks !
As Stu says drop speedking a line mate, with our $ so high its far cheaper buying quality stuff overseas than from the stealerships here, ive bought rims and full system off him and hes awesome to deal with.I dont think theres any Kiwis regular on here with Navis at the moment.Post up pics of the beast eh.
Wilbers first then Hagon for off the peg shocks.

Turbulence OK on mine, suppose it depends on how tall you are in the saddle.

Found on this and other bikes that dropping the front sharpens up the steering and changes the angle of the screen which can deflect the air better.

So theres my 'beasts", ive only just picked the Navi up from Dunedin, i passed thru your way on Monday Mike,
Bike ran really well except for the horrid stumble around 3-4000rpm (will get Teka tune) im pleasantly surprised
with the power and torque. Have discovered a small oil leak from the main engine gasket on the RHS.

Im about 1.83m or 6ft, on my ride home ive noticed if i crouch a bit or lift myself up about 40mm or 1 1/2inches the wind roar/buffeting
is quite ok, so i either want to space the upper mounts like in 'azodads' pic or maybe chop/trim or buy another screen.

The previous owner has dropped the forks already in the clamps which i'll leave...i think ive found someone local to liberate some noise
from the stock mufflers, a K&N or similar airfilter to fit then a Teka/dyno tune are on the cards, also finding out and fixing the small oil
leak.
Once these minor things are sorted im not sure if i need the SV as the Navi seems more than capable at what that does and some !

A nice clean original looking Navigator you have there.
Hey man check out Works suspension out of USA they make a direct bolt on with piggy back res. built for your weight height and riding style. Have a yak with Ian @ A.M.P.S. in Auckland .

There is no room for a piggy back Reservoir.

These bikes were never sold in the USA. The rear cylinder head is much closer to the top of the shock with the Suzuki engine compared to the Ducati engine.

Thanks Dougie :)

Cheers Jazza for the thought :whoop
