Naked TLS? Café style?

I am going to reiterate, I am new to the forum. If there are TL purists out there, I am so sorry in advance.

I love the look of a sport bike with it's sexy curves and "go fast" look standing still, but the tinkerer and glutton for punishment that resides within also likes the look of a mashup of modern sport bikes with a hint of café inspired looks. I also like the look of a modified front end that deletes the fairing in exchange for either a delete altogether with a round headlight or a smaller fairing altogether.

If I am in the wrong spot :bitchslap me right now, otherwise I would love to see pictures of what yours looks like if you have done it and maybe some resources to potentially get started in the right direction.

Also, what am I getting myself into? My saddle has always been on a cruiser, but I got this little lady in red on trade!

Nice looking TLS. And the photographic effect is a nice touch.

You are in the right forum. There is already a thread (either here or on the Planet) that is dedicated to streetfightered TLs and their various pictures, parts, and links. Have you searched for similar threads yet?

As for "what am I getting myself into?" Can you say, "endless modding?" Empty wallet? Strained bank account? :)

I haven't looked yet. I'm pretty new to forums in general. I'm going to do some poking around, get some ideas stirring and plan it out before I shake my wallet out.
When we go to the TL rally in Germany every year there is barely a standard looking bike there, plenty of sreetfightered bikes there, go for it and take a lot of pictured,
Btw, the Ferrari sticker is just wrong .
:lol.

Trust me, I'm not a fan of it either. I'm going to remove them with a steamer shortly. I do like the stripe though.
Has your bike got a single sided exhaust? I likey.

More pics please. Very clean

Yep, whoever owned this before cut it into a 2 into 1...

Hope this link works....these are pictures I have added to my profile.

Very nice machine.

Are those exhausts the same length for both cylinders? I'd like to get mine made into 2 -1, but don't want them unequal length as you lose power. This would be on top of the power loss you already get running a 2 into 1 system on TL's, IIRC from previous posts on this subject.

I am not sure I will hop underneath it tomorrow and take a few pictures.
Hope this pic shows it a little better. I don't see a crazy difference in length size.
