Hello everyone. Just thought I'd post some pics of my TL1000S that I've been building for the last 18 months. Nearly finished. Just the bodywork to paint in satin black with red graphics and it's done. Hope you all like it 馃憤

Cut the Yoshis in half and got some carbon sleeve and some stainless sheet to make the bands. It is VERY loud 馃憤

Great job. What are you doing about decals? I had one heck of a job finding them for my '97 green TL, and eventually got what I think must be the last TL1000S fairing decal in gold in the world! Maybe those for red bikes are easier to find?

I'm painting the bodywork in satin black and have had the decals made in red. Then I'll laquer over them with 2 pack satin clear coat. On the tail unit instead of having ' V Twin Supersport' im having 'Widowmaker ' decals 馃ぃ

Haha! Nice! I'd forgotten that you'd said you were painting it all black. Like everyone else, looking forward to seeing the finished job.

First test run. I've dropped the front sprocket down 2 teeth and the front just wants to lift all the time 馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ馃ぃ

Well i certainly dont hate it thats for sure. The frame did you polish it then clear coat it or are you doomed to repeat the wax on wax off for thecrest of eternity? Looks and sounds great though. I cut and gutted and proceeded to replace the baffle tube with straight 2" stainless tubing to make it a straight pipe but still have the look of the cans. I may have gone over board with that one. It sounds... satanic.
