My TLR was in poor shape when I bought it. It was filthy, and banged up pretty good. After some TLC and a little money, she's on her way. As for the fairings, I just got them painted and mounted. I"ll have more pics of the bike complete shortly-

I tried to as soon as I posted it, but I don't have the authority. Sorry about that. I didn't realize I was inside another thread when I originally posted the pictures. Then it was too late. We'll see if one of the admins can get rid of it.

Thanks... Some call this color "LAPIS BLUE"... It's the same paint color that is on some of the US Nissan Muranos... THe newer mid-sized SUVs. What do you guys think I should do, go with white SUZUKI decals to give it some contrast? My bike was originally gixxer blue/white, so it's got white wheels.

white IMO is a little to bright on a dark color like that. Silver would probably look good.

The only thing about that would be the lack of balance on the bike as far as color goes. Stock bikes have white fairings, and white wheels... Without putting some white on the plastics, Im afraid the white wheels would look out of place on the bike, with nothing to tie them into the body

Looks good :thumbup. You interested in doing anymore paint jobs :devious
Yeah, I can do the fairings and tank a nice solid color for $350. I've got all my paint gear out and all setup. I've been asking around to see if anyone was interested. I think $350 is a good price. I'll get some pics up shortly of the bike all put together with the newly painted fairings. I'm just waiting for the tank. It's getting a ding removed.

Anybody, feel free to PM me about getting your stuff painted. $350 is before the shipping costs.

BAH! No Way! I love the white wheels. When they are clean they look great! Of course, when they are dirty, they look like sh*t... But I went with the blue paint scheme because I had the white wheels, and I thought the contrast between the dark blue and white would be nice... Besides... Painting the wheels is a project unto itself. So many edges and angles, its very tricky to get the paint to lay evenly on them

Hmmm...$350 huh? If I send my fairings to you can you sand and prep them, then send em back to me and I'll paint them using my own creativity then send em back to you and have you wetsand and polish them? Geez, having done my own paint job I think that sanding alone would be worth $350. Oh dang, no fairings in need of painting right now. :banghead

I'd never do a paintjob for that cheap. Heck, I know what the paint cost me and what's left over from the $350 ain't didly for your time spent doing the boring stuff.
