Now mind you, this was shot by N2Wheelies with his Cannon digital camera in movie mode, not a real movie camera. Also, you try doing wheelies on a 65 hp minibike with itty bitty tires, an explosive powerband, short gearing, and a razor thin balance point.

All those prequalifying excuses out of the way, on with the show. As the music says "too scared to run". :laugh :banana :beer

Right click save as works best :) The file is 3 MB.

Sweet, can we put 17's on the KXOD? Would be sweet on the track if you could gear it tall enough, spank some serious big bike ass with it. Oh yeah, and shit yourself a lot! Woo HOO!

doug, there's a whole indoor supermoto race series for 80-125cc mini-bikes so yeah, sticky street ruber exists for the thing (although often folks just use trials tires on the stock rims).

Ok, wait...either Duken is huge or N2 is short...shorter than me even. Seems I remember seeing N2's video and that looked like a normal sized dirt bike under him, but with Duken the bike is tiny!

I am 6' tall and weigh 185. I am not overly large in other words. It is an 80cc minibike chassis folks. It is tiny and it has a 550cc high compression fully built 65+ hp KX500 engine. It is hard to kick over as you can see in the videos. It isn't called the KX of Death for nothing ya know :coocoo

I had a pretty fast WR500 with a ported cylinder and FMF pipe. The power on that little KX puts my old WR to shame. Of course it was a lot easier to use the power in the full sized bike.

The KX of Death runs crisp and hard. Being at sea level only adds to the fun. It violently snaps the front end off the ground with a dab of throttle at low revs and off the powerband. I would start the wheelies pretty controllably at low rpm, but then the rpm rises and the power does too, exponentially. Once on the pipe, it comes up so fast it is hard to hang onto. Wheelspin and wheelies while astride a minibike with a 14" minibike rear tire and the corresponding narrow balance point are interesting to say the least. I put my nuts on the gas cap and rolled it on with respect and it still tried to kill me. It is truly a sick and scary little bike. I enjoyed riding it :laugh

:hail :hail

I used to have one of those in the 80ies, but with the standard 80cc eninge in it. :laugh

I saw it and though, man he's kickstarting it like a woman... :lol
550cc explains it a little...

But, seriously, you got to be insane to ride that thing wihout helmets! My experience with big 2 smokers are that they tend to throw me off...

Some 17" on that and I think a new lap record at my home track would be in your pocket :)
