kicks off when putting in gear

Got a 2000 tl1000r. I got the bike after it went down. The clutch lever is broke to stem. Now here is the problem. I have bike in neutral push in clutch and put it in first gear, it kicks and shuts off. So I bypassed kickstand switch. Try same thing and it kicks and shuts off again. So then I take the clutch switch and pushed in button and put it in gear and it kicks and shuts off when putting it in 1st gear. I try same thing with clutch switch out and it does same thing. What would be causing this.

Have you bled the clutch? Sounds like it doesnt engage as it should...
I haven't. How do I do that?
Well, you have a bleednipple on the clutch slave cylinder. Put a clear hose onto that nipple and lead the hose into a bottle. Pull the clutch lever all the way in to the handlebar,Hold it there while opening the nipple, let the oil and air out, and then close the nipple again. Let the lever out slowly, Pump the clutch a couple of times, and repeat the process until only oil comes out of the nipple, and no airbubbles can be seen. Make sure you dont run low of fluid in the resevoir.
Thanks for the help I opened the resivour and realized there is nothing there so I put fluid in there and repeated the process you told me. There is no pressure in clutch handle and no more fluid is coming out of nipple. Resivour is full I've done it over 10 times and no fluid is coming out? Why would that be what could I do now? Thanks for the help by the way
Maybe the mastercylinder is full of air as well.. Try to squeeze the hose from resivoir to clutch master repetetly, and look into the resivoir as you do so.. See if theres any bubbles coming back into the res..
I tried to squeeze it but it is rock hard

The master cylinder is not priming. You will need to remove the banjo bolt that attaches the hose to the master cylinder. Place your finger over the end of the MC. Then pump the lever until fluid comes out of that junction. Don't pump to fast. Give the fluid time to flow into the MC from the reservoir.

Once there is fluid in the MC, reattach the hose and bleed from the slave cylinder.
:stupid Just make sure you don't get brake fluid on any paint.
