Interesting article on state of AMA

It's a sad case when less than a decade ago I remember going to the local round and the place was BUZZING with people and things to do. It was hard to find a spot to camp. Now it's open areas with nothing to do outside of the racing itself. Don't get me wrong, these current racers are still some of the most incredible and talented riders out there, but there is a serious lack of competition. I'd be discouraged from racing if I was a young adult looking for some way to make a living racing motorcycles in the US.
