On the way home tonight, watching my fuel warning light trying to decide wether I was in dire need of gas or just whenever would be fine ... I thought about these things ...

We know the maximum throughput for the injectors, we can get TP information easy enough ... why cant someone smarter than me make a little gauge that tells us how much gas we've actually put through the injectors? Surely that would be cooler than an indecisive flashing light ... and probably lighter too!

Anyway ... a good idea but :)

You don't even need throttle position, all you have to do is keep adding the time the injector is open for, X2 X Flow rate and you have it.

Or two flow meters, one on the supply line - adding, one on the return line - subtracting, the difference is what went into the engine :)
