Posted this at the planet but thought I might get a few more opinions here.

I know it's a weird question, sort of! I just got my TLR which had them installed. I really liked the looks but wanted to see how it felt stock since I sold my TL years ago. I think I like the feel better stock as far as handling (I know its all in my head but I think it is because I feel like I am sitting up so much higher with the risers installed). The seating position is better with the risers except that my back is really pushed against the cowl. I am just so torn on which way to set it up but when it comes down to it the handling is more important. I know people are going to think I am over thinking this but thought I would get some opinions!! Thanks :)

They change the handling a little by putting more of your weight over the front wheel.
For me it was a vast improvement as they gave me more room on the bike

The only handling difference is where you're sitting.

It's not the same as raising the rear end via the suspension that then alters the bike geometry & handling.
