Turned up today Sam:)Thanks very much,when i got home rushed out to the shed with it and poof the bloody fuse blew so no lights:laugh undeterred i started up the ute and turned the lights on:laugh Then it occured to me ive never seen one of these things mounted,bit of a mock up and obviously it needs to go under steering head nut but is this right?If so can someone tell me if i can just undo and take off the mounting point for the oem damper ie it doesnt hold anything else on?so damn dark out there i couldnt tell,it looks well ugly poking up there attached to nothing.Whilst i am on the bludge for advice anyone tell me the torque setting for steering head nut?:laugh

I dont have the Sprint but the Ohlins mounts in a similar way.
Of course, it is under the head nut. If there is a washer in there, you remove it, so there will only be the axle of the triple tree, the damper bracket and the nut.
According to the manual, torque for the nut 9.0 Kg-m

You can remove the lower bracket from the frame. No need to have extra ugly brackets there :thumbup
