Hello,

My names Daniel, I live in Melbourne, Australia.

After a long wait (about 8 years) I'm finally in the position that I can own a bike (woohoo)

I was looking at getting a 05-06 GSXR1000 at the end of the year, but managed to find a reasonable 98 tlr with lowish K's for a good price. (although it done need a service and tune as it hasn't been reg'd for 7 years.

Sooo happy I found this bike.

Its an old heavy bike but there is nothing like the sound and torque from the big twin.

Been searching these forums for a couple of weeks now and thought it was time i signed up.

Here's to a long and healthy (hopefully) relationship with the tl and this forum..

welcome

its actually a very light bike for its capacity

185kg

oz has a good fellowship . have a look in the aussie forum for national rides.

get her on the road for new year cos Reet and I will be down and we'll be doing the spurs
185kg
For some reason I had a figure of around 200 in my head..

Spurs over new years sound like a good idea. as long as I can get her running right (I'm having a few issues ATM) but that's for another thread..

I've also got a onsite caravan down at the island, which i'm hoping to use as a base for a couple of track days as well as motogp weekend.
you and anyone else that is interested is more then welcome to join me.
