I went out for a quickish ride for a couple of hours or three in 30-odd degrees and I noticed that the Ohlins damper on my TLS was fekkin hot! Presumably this was from radiant heat from the rear exhaust which is quite close...anyhow I've put some heat shielding between the damper and exhaust which will hopefully help the shock heating problem but my question to the panel is:
Will reflecting heat back to the exhaust cause the exhaust valve to overheat and worse?
Whaddyareckon?
