Had these off the other night and discovered all the threads are muller end. These should have been studs but the twat used 20mm M8 flanged bolts that just about grabbed the end of the can before it destroyed the threads and corroded beyond repair. Gonna have to bore out the cans and Helicoil them.
Harris zorst cans
I have a set of Harris cans on my bike .... they need some TLC ... like refinishing. Not a problem as I know a man who can. Trouble is one has a slight dent. Anyone know if you can readily shorten these things? I will drill the rivets out to have a look at some stage but was just wondering if anyone has any intimate knowledge of the things.
