Hello Kindred Spirits around the world
My first motorbike back in 1986 at a grand old age of 16 was a Suzuki GT185.
After that, probably like most of us, the bikes got bigger, faster and newer.
I have had most brands over the years, Japanese and European. Sorry no HDs, well not yet!
In the past 5 years had a Hayabusa and a Speed Triple, both very nice bikes to ride in different ways.
I was looking for something different, a bit lively and got some spirit as my bikes are not every day transport.
I just missed out on a very tidy SP1. Too busy stuffing around asking questions when some bugger put a deposit on it! Snooze you looze.
That was it, I had the Vee twin bug and that's how my TLS came on the seen.
It was imported to New Zealand from Japan in 2017 and has 18,000kms on the clock.
Very tidy and stock, yes even the rotary dampener!
I have already learnt a lot from this forum and always keen to learn more.
Thanks for reading
Take care
SLK

Welcome to the Zone SLK. 👍
The traffic here is greatly reduced from what it used to be years ago, but as you have noticed, there is still a lot of good information here about these old TLs.
