A few people (Freak for one) have shown interest in converting an older japanese standard into a cafe racer... well this might be a good starting point. The guy posted another for sale in Craigslist to correct the year (it's an '83) and obviously wants it gone. Make a lowball offer and you never know. :O

Except it's a shaft drive making it big and heavy. A GS1000 or GS750 is a better bet for a conversion. Now for a good bike to ride around you can't beat one of teh shaft drive GS850/1000s.

Oops. I should have looked closer. There is a KZ750 and a GS550 posted for sale too in the AnnArbor Craigslist. FWIW, I would happily check out a bike in the Ann Arbor area for anyone.
