Ok guys here we go...

Which Showa shock do we need EXACTLY and how do we go about fitting it?

I see on ebay many types from CBR600's and I understand that's where we are aiming but which one is the baby?

From his photo I'd say an "R".

But that's just a guess. ;)
Maybe, but I cant see Stu riding a lion,:lol

If you are talking R, you need MAL-601 between 94-98.

No accounting for what some folks get up to on their weekends. :eek

Back on topic though, there's a very nice write-up of a showa conversion to be found on the planet.

Glad to hear the link was useful.

I still think you should get one of these....

Just don't eat for a few months. Should save you enough money to pay for it. :laugh

Aww no. You can't sell your child! That's a terrible thing to say.

Send 'em down the mines to work. You'll get more money for longer. :devil

Well that's a viable option:)
When I get the sand buggy project I'm doing at Bugmad customs to a good point I'm on the bike modifications.

At the moment the workshop is a bit rammed out with three beetles a completely stripped down chassis and a 12 second 1968 Porsche:)

Gonna build a buggy for bouncing over dunes and green lanes
